After contacting many companies for porcelain cutting services I found that many would not handle what they considered to be a small job. Happily, at J&R Tile, they take on small and large jobs. I'm refurbishing a cabinet and needed a single porcelain tile piece custom cut to fit on top of the cabinet. I was really pleased with their "can do" attitude in getting this task done for me. Not only did they perform the cuts to my specifications but they polished the edges of the cuts to enhance the edge appearance of the piece. These experts are gracious and a pleasure to do business with. Without a doubt, I will be recommending J&R Tile and look forward to using them as my "go to" tile designers and installers.

So let me begin by mentioning that this was the most traumatic experience of my life! It was an event in my life I did not want to speak of nor relive. However, I want to warn others the stress and anxiety I experienced not be in vain! Erin came to our home to quote my wife and I on a shower retile which she stated would be complete within 5-7 business days(late May). They began demolition on June 5th. I should've known off the first day when both project manager and crew of 2 show up an hour late when specified by Erin. After that is was error after error which I had to point out each time to Erin. It began with them breaking my restroom tile (which I had to mention to project manager) in the process of demolitioning my existing shower. It went from one week, two weeks, three weeks going into 4th of July weekend when I was given confirmation by project manager that I would be returning from the hotel in time to celebrate the 4th at home with my wife and four children. Soon to be disappointed once again by a call at 4:59pm the Friday going into 3 day weekend by Gus that it would not be complete after all. One month soon turned into late July when J & R TILE realized it's been too long let's finally complete project by hurrying up employees because they were too busy walking around my home, looking through my belongings, damaging my property to actually do quality craftsmanship! July 29th is when this nightmare of an experience intensified when my living room wall began leaking because Erin, project manager or her crew failed to notice my shower fixtures weren't even attached! We informed Erin who told my wife that we are priority and she would be on the way. She completely blew us off which I waited for her all day for nothing while my family went to celebrate my youngest, daughter's birthday. I had to hunt her down by calling the next day being Saturday. Let's just say it continued with mistake and INCOMPLETE, PATHETIC attempt to patch up an amputation with Elmer's Glue! That explains quality, INCOMPLETE work because I had intoxicated J&R TILE crew working soon to be harassing me with phone calls because I brought it to Erin's attention even though she knew of his history of drinking! She still allowed him/them to have a key to my home! Long story short project was NEVER COMPLETE so save yourself the agony of allowing them into your home!

We initially consulted a plumber last year who did a leak test and assured us we did not have a leak. But we continued to have problems so we reached out to Erin who found the leak right away!
