I had wanted awnings for 30 years to protect us from the weather while entering our home. After much research, Arkel Chicago Awnings seemed the best choice.
Mike returned our call the same day and was out within
the week.
One awning was done ahead of time and the other had to be postponed due to the cold weather which could have cause materials to crack during install - completely understandable.
My husband and I are thrilled with the results and were comfortable working with Mike and found him professional, friendly and offered competitive pricing. I would feel comfortable recommending him to family and friends.
Only regret is that I waited so long. Included are images before and after and at night. The awnings encapsulate the light from our entryways and intensify the illumination, which is a bonus we hadn't forseen.
Note to Google: why are individuals who live across-country permitted to post negative reviews when they have never done business with the establishment?

It was so hard to find someone to replace an old, hail damaged aluminum awning for my residence. Glad to have found Michael and Arkel. I am overwhelmingly satisfied with Arkel Products and their professionalism. I spoke with Michal and he was very informative and generous.

We wanted to replace some old entrance awnings that had been there since the house was built and Michal/Arkel delivered and installed them within a week. These had to be custom built due to the gutters and other overhangs of the house, but Michal measured so well that they fit better than the originals did.

They pre-cleaned surfaces before installing and patched old holes. It was very well done and in the end I was very happy with the result.

I have no downsides for this review. 🙂

My experience with Arkel was amazing. He came out to give me a quote and I decided to go with him because he knew what we needed over other quote as I received. He had the customs awnings made in less than a week and installed them.
