Have seen them for years but never had a project for them until recently when I needed a glass top for a buffet.

They knew exactly what we needed, were quick to quote, and deliver. Placed order on a Friday and received it the following week.

My wife and I prefer to shop local and support small businesses. Price was great! I would definitely buy from them again.

Dishonest bait and switch pricing.

I contacted Bobbitt Glass to find out what it would cost to replace some 14"x19" single layer panes in a historical building. Three had to be replaced as there were holes in them. Others were just cracked. I asked what it would cost per pane to decide if I should use them and how many to replace. I was told that it would be "fourteen each for materials and thirteen sixty five for labor." I had 14 panes replaced thinking this was a reasonable per pane price. When I received the paid invoice it was for $1,669.78 Their explanation is that by $13.65 they meant $1,365. When you ask for a price per pane and the prices are presented as they were, anyone would assume the price was $13.65. I asked them if they would inform customers in the future of the total out the door price and was told that they would not. When I asked for a good faith discount they refused. This is simple glass installed with glazing caulk. They claim they charge $125 per pane, though this number was never discussed with me. And at any rate, I would never have paid this. It takes only a few minutes to chisel out the old glazing and install new. I could easily have gotten glass and installed it myself. At first I thought this was a comedy of errors but given their aggressive response in my communications with them and the negative reviews by other customers, I now suspect I was intentionally misled. Be sure to read the negative reviews below in addition to this one. I wish I had.

If you’re reading this, it’s probably too late. If you just need a plain mirror, then you’re OK. But I was ordering one of their specialty mirrors and it was a fiasco. They never made it right. They installed the wrong mirror twice. I went to the location and picked out the exact mirror and still installed the wrong one insisting it’s the one I picked out. In fact they blamed me twice. The owner made an appointment with me at my home to inspect it and then never showed up. I decided to not let them make a fool of me a third time and went with Lone Star glass (highly recommend them). Oh and the installation was atrocious!! They way they applied the mirror to the wall could be seen through the mirror. It looked AWFUL!! And they kept my deposit despite repeatedly putting up the wrong mirror in my home and the owner never showing up. Poor communication. Poor quality. Poor oversight. All in all - they don’t even deserve the one star.

Perhaps Bobbitt has new owners. Beware. Do not do business with this business. About 6 years ago I did business with this company and had good service. This time for simple bar glass it took approximately 3 visits to get a small area sized correctly. Prior to installation Someone came out to measure. Apparently he did not measure correctly. I ordered the glass, they did not record the color of glass nor inform me when it was ready. It took over 7 weeks for a shelf and 2 approximately 16x17 glass areas to be installed. Both Nicole and Carol were rude, gave my GC Deeply Rooted(excellent GC), the run around and lacked customer service. Actually basic politeness. I almost never write a review, but when they damaged the walls at my sister house based on my recommendation. I had to alert others. Yes, the nails went through the wall extending out through the adjoining room. Yes, I took my time paying the balance because of the horrible service, money owed to my sister to reimburse her for the damages and the long delay to receive my glass. I received emails and calls daily for 7 days. I should have made them wait 7 weeks.

We were extremely pleased! Bobbitt Glass just completed several projects in our home and we were impressed! Nicole was a pleasure to deal with and Alex and D.J. were amazing at the install. Their attention to detail was spot on and I loved their determination to get the job done right! I also appreciated that they explained how to care for the glass. Thanks Bobbitt. We will definitely be back with our next project!

Bobbitt is by far the best glass company in Houston - Especially when it comes to great work and great customer service! They're friendly and the get the job done right the first time. The staff is very well educated when it comes to glass - no matter what the project is. I have dealt with several different glass businesses in the past but Bobbitt is my #1 CHOICE ALWAYS! Their prices are great for the great service they provide. Great people - great business!

They cut my glass and it took 2 weeks for tempered glass. Didn't fit. They recut the glass, still doesn't fit on 1 corner! Parking is frugal and getting on the road, difficult.
