Bo’s hardware is amazing super selection and great customer service! This should be your only hardware shop in Alton because of how great it is.

Thanks to Bo. He came in clutch with a brush we needed to finish this mural down by the river.

By the way I did not paint it. I only took the photos. I don’t want to take the credit but bow played a big part and making this all come together at the end thank you Bo and let’s go Raiders.

One of the few proprietor owned hardware stores in Alton. BO has a wealth of information and is always willing to share whether it is reglazing a window or replacing an outdoor faucet.

Great selection of quality hardware items at a reasonable price. I got good advice and the right part to repair a sliding closet door. Yes, I have returned and have made subsequent purchases. Bo's is a great alternative to the big box stores if you appreciate customer service. He seems to be a very good gentleman. It's a small store with a HUGE inventory. If you don't see it, ask. Instead of buying a plastic bag with a bunch of screws or bolts, you can buy one or 100 at a reasonable price. I recommend doing business with this gentleman!

Bo's is the best, they carry all the things for my old house, that other stores don't carry. My dad and I searched every store for a part for our tub , but only bo's had exactly what we needed. Thank you.

Where else is the owner going to put together a new water shut off stem to fit something from the 1950s and do it on the spot! This guy has stuff that other plumbing supply and hardware stores don’t have. If you need an odd nut or bolt walk in show it too him and he’ll grab you one. You don’t have to walk 10 miles searching through a giant store to get what you need. His prices are fair too! This store is part of what makes Alton special, he does a giant service to his community and places like this are a National treasure, not many left. Go do business at Bo’s hardware and you’ll find out what the good old days were about!

Bo was extremely helpful in helping me repair my leaking faucet. Saved me a lot of money and gave me extremely useful advice. Will definitely be coming back here first for all my plumbing needs.
