Cothron’s is the best!!! I called them after an extremely frustrating afternoon of nearly being scammed by other locksmiths and wasting hours of my time. Laurie and her manager worked with me and were able to get someone out before end of day. Brooks was super kind and helpful and charged me super fairly after getting the lock off my storage unit. Would definitely call them again!

I’ve used Cothrons for over 40 years. Started buying BMX bike parts. Now I use them for locksmith services. They keyed a used door lock cylinder for my 96 F150 so it worked with my
original key. Always knowledgeable, with good service and fair prices

Update below initial review.

A Cothran’s driver in a company van with a license plate beginning with LGK was driving incredibly reckless the morning of October 11 on 1826 at 9am. The guy was tailgating me absurdly close in traffic, then sped around while honking and giving me the finger. The dumb thing is he just got stuck behind the slow car in front of me.

I was driving with a toddler and infant, and a very clearly displayed “baby on board” sticker.

With reps this inconsiderate and irresponsible, you should definitely take your business elsewhere.

Quick update on my previous review. While I’m still disappointed in my initial experience on the road, Alex from Cothran’s assured me the matter would be looked into and the driver would be off the road (in company cars) until resolution.

I love this place. Pete and Juan really helped me out the other day with two replacement keys for a 2008 Porsche Cayenne, definitely not the easiest car to make a key for. They figured it out and were a pleasure to work with in the process. Thanks guys!

Amazing service today and was a huge blessing to find this after searching online. Fidel was extremely helpful and nice today making a duplicate car key for my Ford Focus that had a chip in it.

I would highly recommend, I have been dragging my feet on getting one made and it took literally 5 minutes and now I have a brand new key (and a backup)! Will continue to spread word of mouth for this location, outstanding service - thank you!
