Buyer beware, I have given this company 6 weeks to correct the situation and I have still not even had a phone call or email from the owner, Brock. I was assured I would be hearing from Brock soon… The installation crew stepped incorrectly in the attic whilst installing the awning and damaged our ceiling. All we have been asking for is for our kitchen ceiling to be repaired back to its original condition prior to one of their employees damaging the ceiling. The installation crew, Henry is very rude, unprofessional and puts all his new jobs ahead of correcting the damage he did to our home. The damage to the ceiling was done when he had to come back due to the awning almost falling of the house the first time. And not to even hear a word from the owner of the company during the six weeks of communication which included multiple no shows on the installation team. I have given them six weeks before I posted a negative review.
3/31/25 Owner did address the issue and fixed all damage. Review changed to4 star

Just had a recover done yesterday at my home in Colorado Springs, and I couldn’t be happier!!! After working with another company for almost a year, I finally “threw in the towel” and found a NEW awning Co. called Direct Awnings & Doors. I truly believe I went from the worst to the BEST!!! They were spot on in doing things in a timely manner, from the first appointment to the install. And that includes phone communications in-between when needed. Quick, quick, quick.
They are professional all the way with guidance and tips on finding fabrics best suited for our needs. Bottom line, you know that you know, that you have a professional who knows HIS Business…so I don’t have to!!!
( Sorry, I reverted back to the trauma from the previous (bad) company )

My awning looks a lot better, than the picture in the proposal! It is almost unnoticeable when rolled in and adorns my home when unrolled. The wind sensor , rolling the awning in case of high wind, makes me feel safer. The front screen shields my East facing deck from excessive morning sun. I enjoyed dealing with the company as well. Their attention to details and timing was impeccable. In short, everything is better than expected.
