I had the best experience with every single employee I came into contact with at Empire. I was building a rock wall and all employees were patient while I picked out my stones from a massive pile and went above and beyond with customer service. An awesome locally owned business!!!

these people DO NOT disclose the actual total amount before hand. They don’t take accountability on what they tell their customers. When I called to figure out why the price was different when I got it delivered vs on the phone, they couldn’t even tell me the correct address on my account, they didn’t even know the delivery fee they tried to charge me which was basically the same amount I was paying for the material. They basically had no idea about anything they were changing me or my address. When we went up there to pay the amount we agreed on(not the price they tried the change it to) the owner Im assuming was aggressive and got into our face and tried to record us bc we were debating the price. Point is, if you’re making a transaction with this people please RECORD YOUR PHONE CALLS.

I ordered 2 yards of rock and had it delivered, everyone that I delt with from the girls in the office to the delivery guy were so helpful and nice! I will be ordering more very soon.

Bought two scoops of firewood a couple weeks ago. It wasn't seasoned. I believe the logs that they split had been setting for some time, but you need to split the stuff to let it dry out properly. Got it home, could not start a fire with it......too wet. Started a fire with some of my dry wood that I had on hand, and then added their wood. The pieces had enough moisture content in them that you could hear them sizzle and see water steaming out of the end grain of the logs. When this happens all your heat goes up the chimney in the form of steam, so you don't get any heat energy out of it.
Just because someone has a log splitter and a chainsaw doesn't mean they know firewood. If you buy from them, make sure you buy some of the stuff that's been sitting all summer

They are robbing every person that comes in there they say that you were getting a certain amount for a certain price and they are not giving you what you pay for I went and got a scoop of black obsidian Rock That was supposed to be 3/4 of a ton and I only got half a ton at $200 a scoop they are robbing people

Worst company ever. Will literally short you on the material and do nothing about it. Worst experience. There are better businesses.
