FRS has been working on my house for the last 8 years for a variety of projects large and small. The latest was certainly the greatest- fabulous new windows that matched our historic home, and exterior repair and painting that transformed us from "ok" to "WOW."
The new windows are already making a tremendous difference in our room temperatures and energy consumption, and literally every person who walks past the house has complimented the paint job and exterior fixes implemented by Nita and her crew.

An amazing experience with a contractor! This is not something I have experienced before despite at least eight major remodeling projects. I can never go back now. The knowledge, honestly, and professionalism of Nita and her team is the best I have encountered.

We got all new exterior doors (5-including a sliding glass door), new ceiling, walls and lights in our garage (we can see and actually use our space!), new interior and exterior lights, and removed an old faux fireplace and replaced it with a built out wall space with an inset TV space and electric fireplace (it’s beautiful). We also ended up replacing a bunch of rotted trim and fascia and FRS supervised our roof and gutter replacement. It was a large project that required both expertise and constant supervision and both were there in spades—saving us so much stress.

We got several estimates and FRS was reasonably priced and by far the most knowledgeable and broadly capable—they seem to be able to do everything or point you where to go if they cannot. Best decision we made using them and I loved that when I wasn’t thrilled with how one of my paint choices turned out, Nita redid it and made sure I was happy. Homeowner satisfaction really means something to them. We couldn’t be more pleased with our improvements which we will enjoy for a while before we list our home with the benefits of our improvements.

Nita and her team recently completed phase two of our window replacement project and I highly recommend working with FRS.

When our journey began in early 2018, I had a dozen or so rotting windows/sills, termite damage and it was time for new exterior paint. I spoke to a LOT of different contractors. Nita gave by far the best explanation of not only the different options for replacement windows, but also of the installation process and how other repairs would be addressed. She was on site at least once, and often multiple times, every day to direct the crew, deal with any issues (there was WAY more wood rot than we were expecting in a couple places) and her attention to detail is beyond compare. Her communication with me throughout was amazing. I always knew who was coming when and what they would be working on that day.

I expected the same when we replaced the other half of the windows this year to fully complete the project and was not disappointed. It’s so nice to have windows that I don’t have to wrestle with for 20 minutes to (hopefully) open, our energy bills are much lower and our house looks fantastic.

There is one other facet of my experience that I’m super excited about. The next time I have a project, I already have a contractor that I know and trust. Just call Nita.

After a plumbing leak I hired FRS to repair all the damage. Lots of drywall, painting, wallpaper removal and a new tile floor. They showed up everyday till the job was done which I appreciated. The work is impeccable and Nita was wonderful to work with. I will definitely use them for all future renovations!

Love the replacement windows that FRS Windows and Doors put into my historic Houston Heights cottage.
