Ricky really helped us out throughout the entire process. He was really patient and gave us his advice, along with what most people will get as well. He never rushed us or made us feel like we were a bother. We ended up tinting all the windows with the FormulaOne Stratos series and you can really feel the difference inside the car. Being in a Tesla Y, we are literally surrounded by glass. To help reduce some of the light coming in we decided to do 70% on the windshield and it's barely noticeable, but just takes the edge off when driving in the southern California sun. Ricky used a tint with a slight blue color, so it looks like it was stock from the factory. The rest of our windows have more of a smokey grey look to them. If you're unsure what tint % to get, have Ricky lay the tint over your windows so you can get a sense of what it will look like. He did it for us and it was really helpful.

We also had our front bumper and full hood done with clear PPF to help protect from highway debris dinging the car constantly.

When we came back to pick up the car, other team members came around to talk to us and offer advice on things they bought to enhance their car. Which was really helpful and nice.

Clean facility. Super friendly. Really knowledgable. The staff is top rated. We will be going back and recommending other to come here.

Very nice people, high quality work with attention to detail and on top of that fair prices. If I need some more work done, this will be my go to tint shop from now on.
I brought in a Tesla Model Y with white interior and got 50% windshield tint, 15% front windows to match the rear OEM tint. In direct sunlight, I sometimes wish I had gone darker but at Dawn it does look quite nice. Overall very satisfied.

I drove up to Pasadena from San Diego to get my MK VII Golf R tinted after having done a lot of research on tint shops in SoCal.
I got the darkest level of tint on the rear windows(5% light through), but kept the front windows & windshield lightly tinted(80% light through, which may seem useless, but actually does a perfect job at keeping the car cool if parked in the sun!).
They also offer paint protection for the door handles to protect from nail scratches, which I forgot that I even asked for until they finished their work and showed it to me. I still cannot believe how clean it looks, you have to get really close to be able to see it!

I've been thinking of tinting my car windows for months, and a few friends recommended G5 so I thought I'd try them out. I went in on a Thursday and I think it was Jack who showed me samples to help me pick the right tint for my car. He also showed me the different heat control options. He was very courteous. The Price Menu is up on the wall behind him so they didn't jack up prices on me for being a girl, as I expect from auto companies.

He told me they had an opening the next day and the car would be ready within a couple hours. I was impressed with how fast they could get me in, so I just went for it. I didn't shop around for other tint shops, so I don't know if I would've found a better deal, but the service was so great that I didn't care to try anywhere else.

I'm so pleased with how the car looks! Overall I highly recommend G5 Tint Shop for their fast service, quality work, and customer service.
