This company deserves 0 stars. I had a nightmare experience with Glassworks. After paying upfront for mirrors and custom glass, the installation was a disaster, with broken installation and poor workmanship. Communication went completely silent, and after trying to cancel the order, we are still waiting for our refund. Avoid this company at all costs!

If I could give Glassworks zero stars, I would. Our experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I urge anyone considering their services to steer clear unless you want to be stolen from and left with a non-completed project.

Here’s a summary of our awful experience:

October: We signed a contract for mirrors and custom glass archways for our venue, and paid the full amount up front. What followed was a series of catastrophes.

Mirror Installation: The initial installation attempt resulted in a broken ballroom mirror and a second attempt that led to the mirror falling off the wall due to poor installation. It’s a miracle no one was injured.

Archway Glass: After payment, communication from Glassworks became sporadic at best. While we waited for delivery of our archway glass any attempts to get a timeline were met with vague and unhelpful responses. We were promised updates by January, but correspondence went silent.

Cancellation and Refund Issues: By February, we had reached out to cancel the order due to their incompetence. They were more than happy to agree to no longer complete the order but despite numerous follow-ups, we’ve never received our money back for the incomplete work. No updated invoice, no refund, no response at all.

Glassworks has shown a complete lack of professionalism and integrity. They stole our money, failed to complete the work, and have been unresponsive about refunds. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this company unless you’re ready to be ripped off.

Shady business practices!!!!
They claim they are insured and rated by the BBB. They are not.

Top scams I’ve encountered:
-Replacing windows w warranties.
This sometimes voids warranties on those windows
-not fully replacing everything to cover costs
-using very low quality materials and passing them off as higher quality

Always double check the work and area they worked. They have damaged property and remain silent.

I’ve used them for two small projects and I’d highly recommend them. They are very fast and reasonably priced. The glass is high quality and exactly what I ordered. Both times I could pickup the custom glass within a day. I will go back to them for all my future projects!

This place is great! I needed two pieces of glass for an old piece of furniture . The owners are so warm and friendly and the prices are reasonable too. I had called around to other glass companies and there was no way I could pay what they asked . I was a little turned around while looking for the place, and the owner was kind enough to come out in this heat to guide me to the right building . He didn’t call me an idiot even once .😃 They have a rescue dog which tells me a lot about them too. So grateful .

The actual installation was decent which is why it’s 2 stars instead of 1, they came and replaced a broken window for me. Price was on the higher end from all the quotes I received.

I decided to give them a shot, expecting to be given a high quality service after paying the higher priced quote.

Unfortunately, communication is not the best here it can be very spotty. To get the actual quote I spoke with 4-5 different people, I had to pay half up front to even have the window measured and waited days before the windows were finally ready. We finally get scheduled for replacement and they still had a wrong sized window which resulted in another day delay. I specifically asked the tech to let me know when they need to go inside so I could notify my wife who watches after our baby son but she informed me they just walked into our residence which made her uncomfortable. There was lots of glass spilled into our room and the tech told me he picked up all the big pieces but with one light I could see many big pieces, they also removed the blinds to install the glass and didn’t install the blinds back on, the new glass had a bunch of smudges after install which is not something a home owner would like to see after spending a lot of money for it. Putting everything back the way it was found is super important and this was not done. I’m not mad just more disappointed, but we’ll be going with a different company if we ever need glass services.
