Viví allí 1 año y no me quedaron mas ganas ya que sentí el constante racismo de la oficina. Nosotros no fumamos ni bebemos ni hacíamos fiesta y ellos estaban constantemente revisando el apartamento con cualquier excusa, entraban de pronto si querían molestando nuestra intimidad los del mantenimiento siempre estaban pasando en el carrito con la mirada fija en nuestras ventanas en verdad no se porque el apartamento lo entregamos intacto y jamás nos retrasamos en pago. Lo último fue que la mánager me paso una carta que iba a mostrar el apartamento para alquilarlo de nuevo porque nosotros no renovamos y se molestó porque le dije que no, que yo pagaba por mi intimidad que lo mostrará después que me fuera. Más nunca volvería a vivir allí son unos necios aunq sea 1 vez por semana tocaban mi puerta o los encontraba adentro

Gulf Gate Apartments was a perfect introduction to Florida living. I arrived at a newly remodeled apartment. The manager at the time, Sarah, and leasing agent Melanie who I am told is still there, were always cordial.

I lived at the community for a year, (Jan 2023 to Jan 2024) and I find myself wishing I had some of these amenities in my current place... a walk away from Gulf Gate small businesses, (including Food and Beer and L'Opera), a walk away from Sarasota Pavilion shopping center (Publix and Panera Bread), a walk to Crescent Beach (25 min), in-apartment laundry, and connected workout room with a game room with a pool table.

A combination of location, location, location--- along with a pleasant management, an easy going lifestyle with walkability to a community in itself plus apartment amenities is why Gulf Gate earns 5 stars!

I have lived at Gulf Gate Apartments for 18 years. All of the staff here is wonderful, but I must give a special shout out to Heather. In my line of work I have dealt with literally thousands of people, and at the risk of sounding cynical, there are a lot of fake people out there. Not Heather. Heather is the genuine article. She has a true and kind heart, and though I only have the occasion to see her maybe twice a year, every time that I do, it proves to be the high point of that month. There are a lot of reasons I keep renewing my lease here at Gulf Gate Apartments, but Heather is why I love it here. I would recommend highly that anybody become a resident here at Gulf Gate Apartments for all of the many things that it offers — come for all of those good things, and find out like I did, stay because of Heather.

I lived there 2 years before i bought my home. The best place to live at. Stores and a plaza near by and the beach is only 8 mins away. The staff is friendly and any maintenance issues were addressed right away.

Very nice and updated apartments. Ladies who run the apartments were very welcoming and kind. Love that here they are animal friendly since I have a fur-baby of my own.
