I have been using this company for many years. I replaced all of the windows in my 1897 Victorian home with their glass. They always get the measurements correct, they package the glass quite well so I can get it home safely, the pricing is very reasonable, their product is twice as good as low as an example, and their people are very courteous and accommodating. as a contractor, we have also use them on our jobs per shower glass as an example and they do a great job. I can’t say enough good things about this outfit.

My wife and I ordered some new replacement screens for our daughter’s home, I measured incorrectly and the screens did not fit. The folks at Hurst Glass and Screen worked with us to get the right size, they gave us 2 screens that were the perfect fit. My rating is based on their online customer service. In my second custom screen order (first order was fine), the package was delivered and the screen frame was broken and bent. I know it's not their fault because it most likely happened during delivery. My frustration is when I emailed them several times and the person I contacted eventually said they would send a new screen. I waited for two weeks and sent several emails but no response. I've called the store several times and the person I talked to says they don't handle online orders and they will try to notify the person that manages online orders and it's been over a month. I had to order the screen from another place and asked them to send me a refund but still no answer. I don't like leaving negative reviews but I felt like my order wasn't handled correctly and still have not received my refund.

Update: their response saying I never responded to them is inaccurate. I provided them a screenshot of the five email replies that were sent (to the same email they are now reaching out back to me with) asking for status on my replacement order. I understand this may not had been intentional but this was my experience. I ended up having to initiate a claim with my credit card company to obtain my refund.

Hurst glass is fantastic! They came out and replaced all our screens and I couldn’t be more pleased with how everything was handled from start to finish. I compared prices with several other local glass companies and their prices were the best. Jerry was incredibly professional setting up my appointment and the technician did an excellent job, fast and efficiently. Strongly recommend them for all of your glass and screen needs!

Hurst Glass is the BEST glass company around! They reglazed ALL the windows at my home and it looks gorgeous! This saves me THOUSANDS over full replacement. They also came back and replaced the glass on another broken window for me and fixed a window with some fallen beading at a different house. They are the only ones I will call for work on my windows 🙂

I ordered a dozen custom-size screens online from Hurst Glass & Screen. I live in Half Moon Bay, CA, and we'd just purchased a funky house with odd-sized windows. I'd never ordered window screens before, but Hurst was highly rated, and they had an easy-to-use online ordering system. All I had to do was get the screen measurements right.

Easier said than done.

A well-packed and well-cushioned box of screens of various sizes arrived on time on my doorstep, all sized exactly as I had ordered. The quality of the metal, the strength of the screens, and the placement of the ram clips and tabs were all perfect.

Except ... I had incorrectly measured my bathroom windows, and the screens were too small. 10 out of 12 isn't bad for a rookie, but I still had two bathroom windows I couldn't open without letting bugs in.

So I emailed Hurst Glass & Screen, explained my mistake, and asked if they would offer me a discount on a replacement screen.

They did one better. Here's what they wrote back to me:
"We all make mistakes. If you provide the new measurements, we can send you two new screens at no cost. We don't need the other screens back."

Amazing. Makes me wish I had more windows so I could send them more business. Can't say enough good things about them. I recommend them highly!!
