This is the quality of home that they tried to sell my daughter for her first home she works hard for her money she deserves to get her earnest money back we refuse to sign after for poor quality of work they should not be able to do this and take advantage of people also failed city inspection and still say it's quality do not trust this sells person or super on site

Worst experience you could ever imagine! Unless of course, you’re looking for sub par quality, contractors cutting corners and failed inspections hidden from you by the superintendent. Keep in mind before you spend your hard earned money. KB is refusing to return over $7000 we’ve put towards our home that failed inspection and was deemed irreparable.

Ioana was not helpful at all!! My wife and I are first time homebuyers. Or at least trying to be. All we were looking for was a chance and I don’t think Ioana was willing to give that to us. We’ve spent over a year building our credit, lowering our debt to income, and building our savings just to even be in the position to try to buy a house. We went to KB Homes and were interested in a quick move in as we are on a time restraint. Of course the quick move in was a spec home so it costed more than we thought. They told us to apply and Ioana would be getting in touch with us. She called 2 days later but not with news of pre approval. She called regarding even more documentation (Even though there wasn’t anywhere requesting this on the website) Nevertheless, I did that. I can tell over the phone that she wasn’t going to be compassionate and seemed to not care that we are first time home buyers but very discouraging and letting us know that she cannot give us pre approval unless we have over 10,000 in the bank. We were pre qualified with another lender before with way less than what we have now in our accounts. And it didn’t take nearly as long as she does. She then sends an email the next day with this stupid break down of how much the house would be with the down payment of like 13,000 versus how much it would be using DPA. At this point we don’t even want the house we were interested in cause it’s just out of our budget. We just want a pre approval so we know what we are working with and can go from there. We told her this on 6/5 and she just replied today 6/7 saying she still can’t pre approve us until she sees at least enough for the down payment in the bank. And If anybody is gifting she needs their statements too. Like I said before, we were able to get pre approved on our own earlier this year with nearly no savings…Very frustrating and unprofessional on her part. This is partly why a lot of people aren’t buying right now. Especially us first time buyers in our 20’s. How are we supposed to get our foot through the door if no one gives us a chance? Lenders like Ioana are part of the problem. If you are a first time home buyer steer away from her.

The most stressful closing experience I have ever had. Let’s start of by saying the loan officers will call you outside of business hours like 8pm at night but then the moment you need something be unavailable. They gave us a build date of 10 months but finished in 5. Which ideally would sound great unless you have kids in school and have to break your lease which costed us another 4600. They lag in organization. We didn’t receive our wire information until the day before close which made things tight on our end for getting keys but because it was so close to close our wire didn’t arrive on time. We ended up having to cancel a bunch of vendors, on top of that they won’t allow an outside inspector to come in. Honestly if I could back I would just continue to rent, the process is already so stress and KB doesn’t make it easy on you. NEVER AGAIN WITH KB

Buy somewhere else! Had a terrible experience. Rude people and disgusting construction workers. Let’s just say I walked into a house I was going to buy and laying on the floor was something I did not want to see or smell.
