Lanham did a great job on the windows. Up front and honest estimate from beginning and no pressure salesman. Work crew that installed the windows did an excellent job and were done halfway though out the day.

I was looking for windows 2 years ago and came across Lanham Window Company after checking into a few others. I had already gotten estimates from Pella and Anderson. I'm nobody, not an expert or know it all do it your selfer, but I like things to make sense. I asked all the vendors to tell me what type of glass they used and if their windows were guaranteed and what the window frame was made from. The all said they got their glass from Cardinal Glass and that it was all Low E. They all had Vinyl frames made of the latest Sun resistant material and they all had dual pane type setups. Not really any shockers yet. We'll I did more digging and found that you could get Pella windows at Home Depot and the price on them was reasonable. I went to Angie's list and looked up the price for labor for installing windows and putting 2 and 2 together I created my own estimate. Neither Pella nor Anderson came close to that estimate, they were over double the price. I asked them where the extra was going but neither really gave a straight answer. I looked for an alternative and found Lanham. Same glass, same style frame, same materials but there was a distinctive difference. The cost was really near my estimate! Looking at their business model was also telling. They train their staff, are local to the DFW area, they build their own stuff and when speaking to them they just felt like real people and not pushy sales folks. Their guys show up in Lanham trucks and not random cars from a 3rd party contractor. During the install of the windows I did a sanity check. It was summer so it was hot outside. My old windows were double pane windows that were contractor grade and they were the original on the house. I measured the temp on my old window on the inside and measured the temp on the Lanham window on the inside. The old window measured 92 while the Lanham measured 79. I felt good about my decision to go with Lanham. 2 years down the road now no regrets and the windows still perform like new. They isolate the sounds outside from getting in, they keep the temps inside really nice and don't lose heat or cold and they just look good.

If you are reading these reviews then you are probably where I was at just a few short months ago in my search for the best company to provide replacement windows for my home. I had gotten some quotes in the past from some of the more familiar, highly advertised competitors and felt very uncomfortable with the sales tatics used to seal the deal. After each sales rep left our home, I really did feel hopeless and that we were never going to be able to afford new windows which were very much needed. Hayden, with Lanham, came to our home and showed us the product and educated us on everything we needed to know regarding this process. He answered all of our questions and then gave us a quote. That's it. There were no pushy sales whatsoever. He simply gave us his number and told us to reach out if we had any questions or wanted to schedule and THAT is how we like to do business over here! The installation date came and the windows were installed in less than a day. The crew was very professional (another major selling point for us was that they use their own employees and do not contract out the work) and left our home nice and clean. We absolutely love our new windows and loved that we could get the black frames as they drastically changed the look of our home. Their pricing is very affordable so do not hesitate to call these people. We will be recommending them to all of our family and friends. Extremely satisfied home owner !! Lanham was referred to us by someone else and we now know why! They were amazing in helping us make a sound decision without pressure and it was obvious their reputation is what matters most to them. Their team of installers were so good and cleaned up after themselves. If it weren’t for beautiful new windows you would have never known they were here. These windows transformed our home on the exterior and the interior. Communication was great and prompt through the entire process and they delivered on their promises and more . We highly recommend Lanham Window Company, and have indeed recommended them to several neighbors. Lanham installed 30+ windows and a door for us 6 years ago, and Nicholas came out today to touch up some aging caulk. Outstanding customer service from Chuck and the Lanham team 6 years ago and now! I had them come out and give me a quote on my windows, after having two other companies come out. They were the only honest company to let me know that most of my windows had already been replaced with energy-efficient ones within the last 3-5 years and didn't try to oversell me. Meanwhile, the other companies quoted me over 50k and attempted to bully me into installing new windows in the entire house. I will be recommending them to anyone and everyone for their honesty and integrity.

If you are looking for windows, look no further! I have had a fantasic experience with Lanham Windows. Hayden took extra time and used CAD to draw out a couple of grid patterns to help me visualize what the windows would look like. The installation team is experienced and through. They answer the phone when you call. Honest, hardworking, and they care about your businesss!
