I called this morning to ask about getting an order placed for lumber and asking if I could pick it up in batches, given my build situation and vehicular situation. This is a great place (and the only place I know of) to rent tools in Pratt. The people are knowledgeable and friendly and they offer a decent selection of tools to help with most household projects. I rented floor sanders here but they had lots of other things too. From saws to pressure washers. If you need to borrow a too for a project, I'd start here.

I would not recommend Mead Lumber for uhaul rentals. I called them 10 days ahead to rent a 15 foot truck. They said they didn't have one. They were not willing to go to another town to get one and did not offer another size truck. So we took our business elsewhere.

They are repainting the walls and other things right now. Boxes and carts on the floor. Staff is friendly. We were picking up our uhaul.

They stole 130 bucks from us when we were renting our uhaul to move I've turned them into the BBB and getting ready to file a lawsuit against them for stealing our money
