We had an odd job to schedule. During some work on our house,decorative oak beams needed to be removed. It would take skill and much creativity to put them back because the oak needed to be reshaped.At my request
Mr. Handyman sent Tom Kissee. Tom is easy to work with because he listened to what we hoped to achieve. He assessed our limitations. His work included reshaping oak beams. Lucky for us he has a creative eye. He kept the work site clean. We are thrilled by his work and knowledge of wood.

I contacted Mr. Handyman as I need to get our Gazebo re-screened. The gentleman who came out to evaluate the job was polite and professional. I felt that the estimate provided was fair and straightforward. The job was completed by Bart. He did an excellent job and was friendly, courteous and professional. He also replaced some boards and even painted them to match everything. I was definitely very impressed with the work he performed. I'm including a photo of the completed job.

The appointment with Bart from Mr. Handyman could not have gone any better. We had a door and entry that needed repair after forced entry (medically related) was made. Since the door had been secured in a specific way, it hadn’t been opened until our appointment date. It was much more than anticipated.

Bart was a true professional once he saw the extent of the damage, outlining a few different options for us and explaining each in detail. You could tell he had a general idea of what he was going to do. But then Bart went into craftsman mode and put a lot of care and attention into making sure everything worked well AND looked great. By the time he was finished, it was like a new door.

My girlfriend and I honestly could not have been happier with the work and the level of professionalism and care he displayed. We really couldn’t thank him enough.

We called Mr. Handyman on a whim, as this was a repair that needed to happen ASAP. We are so glad that we did. Once again, a massive thank you to Bart for everything. You really went above and beyond to make this happen.

After installing a new front door, screen door and insulation I am unhappy with the results. The second repairman admitted that he would’ve not been happy if his project was left the way it was by the first installer. One repairman (of the 3) claimed he came to my property but Knocked on my neighbors door and left. At the end there i still draft, and sunlight coming through gaps. From the second opinion I got i was advised the draft is due poor installation of the weather strips. Mind you EVERYTHING was NEW when I had installed and the company blamed the parts as defective… I had to buy two front locks, one because it was “defective” and a second screen door lock. I also had trouble with “their” finance company and at some point I was told, “just sounds like you don’t want to pay’” ?!?!? excuse me I pay my bills, that statement was not customer service friendly or professional….It was a bad experience for ME, in my opinion and it’s a lesson learned.

If you need a great handyman Tom Kissee is your man! He did a great job installing my dryer ventilation. He got rid of my old flexible ventilation, cut & replaced my drywall while having to maneuver through some very tight spaces. Best of all he kept me within my budget!
