Wonderful family owned family run business that does things the good old-fashioned way. Trustworthy, straightforward, great service. This is not a chain store and it shows. They value every customer and know their quality products backwards and forwards. They also farm and have personal experience with many. These types of businesses are a dying breed, sadly, when customer loyalty and a handshake meant something. Friendly hellos, smiles and they remember your name.

They have a great selection of quality brands and products and they back their products with strong service which makes me want to buy their brands versus brand shopping products elsewhere.

But if they don't have what you're looking for they are not afraid to refer you to someone they recommend versus trying to sell you something thats not right. In 12+ years this has happened twice and both referrals were also excellent.

I wanted very much to support this locally owned business, but at every turn they have let me down.My Grandma previously purchased a used tractor from them and we have done all of our service there since. We wanted to remain loyal so when we began having issues with it we called them to ask about purchasing a BRAND NEW tractor . I was told it wasn't a good day and to call back. I thought that was odd, but called back the next day to try again. This time I was told the owner was moving equipment on the lot and would call me back. I was never contacted again in any way. We are farmers in the middle of planting season and could not be without a tractor so I called another dealership who easily made the deal and had a tractor delivered to me the same week. I still wanted to give them a chance so I took my other tractor in to them for repair. It has now been over 4 weeks with 0 contact. If we had to rely solely on Mt. Sterling Implement we would have lost our entire planting window. The one star is jut for the gentleman in the parts department who was awesome. Just my experience.

We continue to do business with these folks. Bought our 2nd zero turn mower from them several weeks ago. Used, like new. It's exactly what they said it was. My wife mowed yesterday and she's a happy lady.
