The website to reserve and rent the storage unit was a little clunky, but we were able to figure it out.

When we arrived at our unit, it had a huge padlock on it. They didn't answer the phone, there was no customer service. We called the police to see if there was an emergency or after hours phone number, no one answered that number either.

I received permission to cut the lock from the sheriff deputy otherwise we would have still been waiting for access 2 days later.

If you are going to automate the rental of your units it would be helpful if you didn't lock them.

The customer service was superb! We needed a space to declutter before selling our home, they had ready available space, took care of us in a matter of moments, and the unit was spotless. Highly recommend

I was with Next Door Storage for a short time only because I found a place quickly and moved in. I rated all 5 stars because I feel with my experience that I was treated with respect,helped,supported, all of my questions was answered without me feeling that I was asking dumb questions,greeted everytime I walked in no matter how many times I was there. My experience never changed in-person or over the phone and they were all the same even after I left and called for a few more questions. I am so happy that my mother referred me and she has been here over 11 years and currently there still. THANK YOU NEXT DOOR STORAGE!!!!

Well it’s so unfortunate to have the experience I have had at this storage company. I’ve been a customer with multiple units for 5 years and it means nothing to them. Every year they raise my prices and with that compounding over the years one can’t even afford to stay at the location. The folks behind the desk are very nice but they are not empowered to help you in any way. My credit card expired while on automatic payment and I just went into the office to revise it and was charged $20 per unit late fees with no consideration for how long I’ve been a customer. Don’t waste your time at this one plenty of other companies in town who will treat you far better.

The place is hard to find, my husband & I spent 2 hours driving around Dunlap. When we found the place we realized it was on the edge of Peoria, hence the heightened security measures. The "Free" moving truck advertised is not free nor provided on site. You are responsible for locating & reserving the truck, as well as returning it. You pay full cost of truck rental up front. the "free" part is the Self Storage management reimbursing you for up to $25 of the cost, which they apply to your unit rental fee the following month.

I had a positive experience signing up for rental space. The lady was super nice. Only had to pay $1 for one and half months of first renting because of specials. I liked that!

I had a wonderful experience renting my unit here. The Associate was very understanding , and helpful and could tell that I was in some what of a frenzy trying to get my things in a safe place and in a hurry because of moving. I like that they didn't charge an arm and a leg right up front. The prices are fair and there units are clean. Thank You Next Door Self Storage!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. While I am not in my storage unit as of date I feel confident that the climate control storage unit will be a great save for me since fall and winter is rapidly approaching. I have called numerous times & found each staff member courteous and willing to assist me with all my needs. I look forward to renting / working with them.
