Install of matching awnings completed on the date and time promised six weeks before at contract signing. The install team of Christian and Keith were meticulous with installation. And they made sure my wife Nancy and I had all questions answered before they departed.

They did report the 8ft valence was found to be damaged during QA checks as the truck was being loaded. They conveyed message a replacement will be delivered and installed soon. Again the attention to detail noted.

On install day I had the balance check ready, but Christian told me to hold on to until the valence was delivered. Two days later Christian called and then stopped by on a Friday afternoon as he was heading home from work to install the missing valence.

From initial estimate through settlement of the account balance the professionalism & communication of all members of the Rader Awning team was noted.

I would tell anyone who asks "You cannot not go wrong with a purchase from this locally owned and operated awning company. Jill Litt and her team are top notch".

Had a gentleman out to quote me for a simple patio cover. He did not build a quote around what I asked for, instead of a one-piece he quoted for three different tarps. The price was astronomical compared to others. They gave me the "Go Away" price. So I did.

Rader Awning did an amazing and professional job with our new awnings here at the Towers Apartments. Fast, reliable and friendly. We will definately be using their services again when needed in the future!

I am a local Design Professional who recently worked with Radar on behalf of a client of mine. Initially everything was fine. I had a direct representative who worked with me on my estimate and how best to detail a unique condition on site. He warned me upfront that they were busy and that completion could take 2.5 - 3 weeks. Cut forward almost 7 weeks! I was calling almost daily for updates and every time I was put in touch with a new person (could not get a response from my initial contact) who would reassure me their team would "be on site next week." They never were. As one can imagine, my client was not happy. The awnings were finally installed but I found out this weekend, via another trade, that all the details I had worked out with my initial Radar contact were not completed as discussed. They are now resulting in more work for other trades as well as money and time to come up with new solutions. I have never been more embarrassed or frustrated. Do not recommend!

Our rec room faces due West, and from June to October, we always have had to deal with too much brightness and heat.

We had driven by Rader's store on Paseo del Norte a thousand times before, and one day we decided to stop in. Maybe we can
find a solution for our rec room.

We explained our situation to Noel and he walked us through their product line. Noel's extensive experience and thorough yet not pushy communication style worked well for us. He visited our home a few days later and he then made a recommendation and we subsequently purchased a motorized sun screen. Thank you Noel!

After six months of operation ( I wanted to wait a bit to be sure all was good) I can say that the sun screen's benefits and performance have meet all of our expectations, and a bit more!

If you are looking for sun screens and or awnings this company is worth a look. They know their products!

I had Raider make a vertical rolling shade for my patio. They screwed up fabrication by not making the shade according to the drawing. They did fix it, but Jill still argued with me that it was made according to the drawing. It was not. I don’t know where my sales person Scott was during all this - no contact with him. When it was ready I made arrangements that I would pick it up close to closing time, maybe a few minutes after. Jill said she would be there and understood that I was coming. Needless to say that when I arrived at 7 minutes past closing there was nobody around. I live 30 miles away and it isn’t trivial for me to just drop in. Not happy does not begin to cover it. I won’t be doing business here again.

Several years ago I went through Rader Awning to get my shade sails installed in my backyard through their installer, and also purchased the shades from Rader Awning. From start to finish the entire process was filled with rude incompetent people, and the final install was completely different than discussed; but I was fine with the shade just being up so I could be rid of my interactions with them. Years later, the shades started to come apart, and knowing that they used to make these specific sizes for premade sails, I decided it would be worth contacting them to see if I could purchase the sails from them (maybe the rude asinine people had left?) and give Rader Awning a second shot. The lady I talked to couldn't have been more irritated by the fact that the phone let alone rang, but that I was asking her to do something. I was told that they have never made sails you could just "pick up here, I don't know what you think you're talking about" and that they ONLY do custom shades. I then was so bold as to ask her for a price quote to which she gave a loud sign and said "yeah... sure..." in a very condescending tone - maybe that's her only way of speaking. Each sail would cost $650 to replace. While I was waiting for her to stab the numbers out on her computer I found the same size sails from several online suppliers with the same dimensions ranging from $100-$150; meaning Rader Awing was 6 times more expensive just to have the pleasure of whatever product they throw out at you - which I am assuming you better like it or they'll treat you even worse.

I can say now having come into contact with this company twice, and being stupid enough to give them money once, you could do MUCH MUCH better somewhere else, and be treated decently. How they stay in business is certainly a mystery to me, but I know I won't be making the mistake again of giving them any money let alone the time of day. A little research for shades online, and using a general contractor for installation is the way I should have gone in the first place - I hope this saves other people the headache and insult of daring the dial their number; because to them, you're just wasting their time by existing.

I had my awnings installed about 2 weeks ago. The installer could not complete the installation due to not having the parts needed. According to him, he had never installed an awning with a cutout prior to mine. He then took photos to show his supervisor, and assured me that someone would contact me right way to finish the job.
I have called the office 3 TIMES after having received my second bill to pay the due balance.
Interesting enough, my sales person was pleasant to deal with and so was the installer
The company internally seem to have a big communication challenge that makes me wonder how much they really care for their customers.
I’m very disappointed with their customer services and do not recommend them.
