Renewal's customer service is the WORST!!! I would recommend not using Renewal just on that alone! We also paid thousands of dollars to get a new bay window and 2 sliding glass doors. For whatever reason, one of the doors didn’t work as well as the other. It took so many different repair visits and multiple repair guys to come by and “fix” the door. It still doesn’t work as smoothly as the other one, but it works and we’re tired of trying to get someone out to make it work right. The real treat, though, was our experience with trying to get one piece of trim around the bay window replaced because it got damaged. It was oak and we paid $289 for one piece of trim back in May 2024. By the end of 2024, we had had two unsuccessful installation visits because the wrong size trim was ordered…twice!! Then they came today, and they ordered the right size trim but it was the wrong STYLE!! The service guys themselves have all been great and were very apologetic, but it’s the complete lack of good customer service at the corporate level that I have had to deal with to get the right product. Customer service never even apologized for the multiple mix ups. I’m done. I asked for a refund and will be having another local company replace the trim. $289 seemed way overpriced for one piece of trim anyway. It shouldn’t be this hard to get good customer service when you’re paying thousands of dollars for a quality product!

when my wife and I wanted new windows about 5 years ago, these guys came in clutch and replaced 4 windows and my back patio door. Was about $15k back then. About a year ago we needed a new door and got a front door with a storm door from them. They look really nice. Our sales guy was nice enough but had a weird instance where he got confrontational about me pulling back drywall and telling him what kind of door frame I have which I knew nothing about. The door was about $10k. they have since had to come out to re adjust the door as the gaps in the frame were noticeable as well as the door wouldn't close correctly. Now this storm door that was $2500 is falling apart. the trim on the bottom is all but fallen off and I have since noticed the window next to the front door is not square with my house. I also have a very loose door nob (which I can fix). for $25000 worth of windows and doors I expected the quality to be much better. I will more than likely be taking my business elsewhere if I ever decide to do any other windows. I am really disappointed at the quality of the door.

Teaches their door-to-door salesmen to try to circumvent "no soliciting" signs. They "just want to sign you up for a free inspection" and "no, it's not solicitation, you're not contractually obligated to buy anything"! As if they were doing inspections out of the goodness of their hearts, and not trying to herd you towards a purchase. I can't imagine doing business with a company that both refuses to respect a person's wish not to be bothered by salespeople and then obfuscates their purpose on top of that. It's a shady business practice, and it's insulting to potential customers.

I contacted Renewal by Andersen at the Veloswap in Denver. We were having some issues with our windows, and I wanted to see what they thought and recommended. Shawn Watters was the salesperson with whom I had the appointment. He was very knowledgeable and personable! Shawn went through every window to show how they were wearing (these were original windows in our 2008 home) and why we were having difficulty closing them. He mentioned options to the style of windows we have and showed the difference between our windows and what we would get with Renewal by Andersen. He mentioned which windows would be the priority ones, if we did not want to replace them all at once. Shawn had the estimates emailed before he left. I would highly recommend you chat with Shawn Watters if you are considering having your windows replaced.

We paid thousands of dollars to have a new sliding door replaced. They had to come out 3 times to fix it. Each installer said it was the previous’ installers fault. The door is only about one year old. The metal handle is already discoloring. They said it would be resistant to dog scratches -untrue. It gets stuck when it is cold . The weather track became bent and so we couldn’t open the door . I told them I was worried about a fire hazard of not being able to open it , but they said they were weeks booked out. I wish we would have kept our old cheap slider. This was a complete mess to spend so lunch money on

Representative that came out (something with a R name) today apparently didn’t want to work. While interacting at my front door stated my mom was not home and is homeowner but I was authorized to make any decisions on home. He said home owner needed to be here. I stated then we would need to reschedule as she’s not here. (Should of been end of conversation) He responded “I’m not retarded I heard you the first time”
. My face dropped highly inappropriate of an estimator who’s trying to gain our business to ever to speak to anyone this way. I canceled and sent him on his way and will not be rescheduling . Outrageous.

Absolutely terrible unethical business practices by their salesman Maurice. Convinced my elderly parents two large windows were damaged beyond repair and charged them $13,000 to replace them. Would have lost $4,300 to break the contract. The windows were older but did not need to be replaced as he stated. Salesman should never be allowed to go to people's home uninvited. I will never recommend this company.
