We began an our kitchen remodeling journey using a different designer and were very unhappy. We switched to Vicki at RKM and it was a complete turnaround - after the first meeting I was very confident that we were going to end up with a beautiful kitchen. Vicki is smart, focused and very experienced and she LISTENS to when clients want! She had a lot of excellent suggestions throughout our process and was always quick to respond to questions and ideas. Vicki is also a very fun and positive person which all makes for an excellent experience. When we are ready for our next remodel, we will definitely be calling her!

RKM helped us with the design process of updating our outdated and dark kitchen. Vicki Hake was the designer who helped bring our vision to life. By using inspiration pictures and rough measurements we emailed her, she was able to get an idea of exactly what we hoped for from the list of changes we wanted. From the start, her demeanor was kind and respectful. Her excitement helped keep us excited through the whole process. She communicated often about design plans, ordering materials, and scheduling installation; and if there was ever a delay with something she immediately contacted us with an apology and explanation. We were grateful to be able to visit RKM's showroom with Vicki and see the materials in person that were to be used. It really helped give us a real life visual of the digital plan Vicki drafted for us. The contractors who installed everything were just as professional and friendly as Vicki. We are extremely satisfied with the outcome of our bright new kitchen and are thankful we trusted RKM, Vicki, and the contractors who helped us with such a large project. Without a doubt I would recommend using RKM and specifically Vicki with your project.

I could rave for paragraphs about how great Riverbend Kitchen/Vicki is! She recently worked with my parents to redo their kitchen and give them the kitchen of their dreams. They wanted something that had a timeless, European look. Vicki made it all so easy. It was great to work with someone who was so diligent, detail oriented, and communicated so well. She always got right back to us when we had questions. My parents are thrilled!! Maybe my kitchen is next! Absolutely recommend Vicki!

We highly recommend Vicki Hake at RK&M in Alton, IL. Vicki recently designed a new kitchen update for us. We had a very small dark kitchen and with Vicki's expertise it all came together with her vision and talent. By meeting with Vicki in the showroom she was able to help us pick out the best options for us regarding countertop, cabinets and hardware. Our kitchen is now open concept and bright. Vicki and the entire team at RKM made our dream kitchen come to reality. There were small issues (cabinet company errors not RKM) that came up a few times that Vicki reacted to very swiftly to obtain the replacement parts. She truly cares about the customer. She had great suggestions when we couldn't decide on certain features. Our new kitchen is timeless, and we will be enjoying it for many, many years to come. If you want someone who cares, ask for Vicki if you work with RKM.
