Our installer, Cam, was nothing short of outstanding. When he arrived he gave us a detailed explanation of how the day day would go. Throughout the day he gave us updates on his progress. At the end of the installation he provided a thorough explanation on the operation of our storm screens. After his clean up, there was no evidence of the work he had completed. He was very knowledgeable about all the different types of hurricane protection for our windows and doors.. Provided several options and provided the pros and cons of each. We have had storm smart lanai screens which have now weathered 2 hurricanes. Additionally, they keep our lanai pretty much dust free when we are not here and help with temperature control during the cooler months
We got an immediate quote and are in the process of finalizing the decision for the best option.

While driving today on Everglades Blvd., this Storm Smart van flew beside us along the shoulder, passing four cars in line waiting for the lead car to make a left hand turn, which could have ended badly 100 different ways. If this company employs people that are so careless with regard to the safety of their own well being, what level of service are customers receiving? Businesses are responsible and should be held accountable when they are on the job, but they must uphold that same level of integrity even when they believe no one is looking.

I usually don't write a review but I thought in this case I needed to, especially with the amount hurricane windows cost. The experience with Storm Smart from the salesman, to the people scheduling the job and especially the two installers was fantastic! I cannot praise the two gentlemen that removed and installed the windows enough! They cleaned up each day, they kept my wife and I informed what they did or going to do, and they were on time. They cleaned the windows when they were done... they were fantastic!

However, the company used to repair and paint the stucco was subpar. I will not provide that company's name. I believe Storm Smart needs to address that part of this review.

The stucco company left chunks of hard stucco in my yard where they cleaned their tools, around the base of my house was the stucco that had fallen as it was applied, and the patch work was not blended to the original house stucco. Windows touched by the workers were left with their prints. I contacted the stucco company several times without getting any satisfaction, and an email was sent to our Storm Smart salesman but we did not get a response.

Again I want to reiterate, Storm Smart and especially their window installers were fantastic and I would recommend Storm Smart in the future. However, I believe Storm Smart needs to take a look at their stucco subcontractor.

I recently purchased a home that included Storm Smart hurricane shutters. I called them to have them come in for a standard service call. There was a long back and forth on the phone but because they could not confirm that they installed them they refused to come out to service their own equipment. Way to stand behind your products.

After installing and removing annually the many pieces of our metal lanai shutters, we went with Storm Smart for replacements. The technician patiently explained all the options. Bryson installed our new rolldowns on schedule before the peak of hurricane season without problems, and we are quite satisfied.
