Sun Smart windows and doors proved to be the most unprofessional company I ever encountered as a real estate investor. We initially believed that our doors would be installed based off our quotes and photos shown during our SunSmart visit. We signed the contract back in December 2022.

Six months of waiting, and six different contracts in and out my home, on top of making payments for this project. July I decided to cancel the project as no installation date had been provided, despite making payments towards it.

Unfortunately, when I called to cancel, the door surprising arrived. Moreover, the installer attempted to ask for an additional $5000 on top of the initial $12,000 payment for a turn-key ready door. Luckily, I knew a few contractors and my door looks good.

I added photos of how project was completed !!! And I’ll post messages to confirm!!

They were attempting to persuade us to sign legal paperwork preventing us from discussing our experience.

The install exceeded my expectations. I had a garden window put in above my kitchen sink and did not know that the sides of the window were going to be able to open, that was a huge bonus. All of the windows are filled with argon gas so they keep out almost all heat from the sun which is a must for our house because the morning and evening sun beats in the windows and heats up the house. Great communication throughout the installation process as well.

We replaced half the windows in our house about 4 years ago. The process was kind of painful in that the workmanship was less than what we expected and the timing of the project was no where near what the sales person promised. To get the project completed to our satisfaction ended up taking several months. The bright side was that we did see some pretty good energy savings.

Our experience with SunSmart was definitely superior to our experience with the "other guys". The cost and quality of the windows is probably about the same. The process for getting them installed was completely different. The installation schedule worked out to be exactly what was promised when we signed the papers. The installation guys were a pleasure to work with, AND they did some real quality work. Since we only had the windows installed a month ago, the jury's still out on the energy savings, but the new view and noise reduction is already evident. I'd urge anyone desiring to install new windows in their home to include SunSmart in their vendor evaluation. My guess is that they (like we) will choose SunSmart - and not regret it!

Andrew did a fantastic job presenting the high quality windows that Sun Smart provides. He provided fabulous personal customer support both in person and on the phone. Then, after the job was done, he came by again in person to inspect the installation job. The installers were all professional and very good. They installed all of the windows in our home in about 4 -5 hours, and did a really good job. I would highly recommend Sun Smart Windows if you are thinking of replacing your windows. You will not only receive a very good looking high quality energy efficient window, but fabulous customer support as well.

We love our Sun Smart windows. This is only May, but we already notice the difference in heat coming through our windows in the afternoon. I think we will break even with our investment in five years! The company was great to work with. It was nice having professionals like Jay and his team making sure our windows were all quality products. They installed the new windows quickly and efficiently, and totally cleaned up before they left. We’ve had a number of neighbors comment on how nice they look. Installing new windows was a major decision for us. I am so glad we did with Sun Smart.
