I had the absolute pleasure of working with Virginia, who previously worked at the Tile Shop in Lombard before transferring to the Hoffman Estates location. From the moment I met her, it was clear she was a true expert in her field. She knows tile inside and out—whether it was advising on the perfect materials or helping me visualize how everything would come together, her knowledge was invaluable. But what truly set Virginia apart was her wonderful personality. Her quirky one-liners always made the process so enjoyable, and she has a way of making even the most overwhelming decisions feel fun. She’s not only incredibly professional, but also an absolute joy to work with. Even after her transfer, Virginia didn’t just disappear like some would have—it was clear that she genuinely cared about my project. She stayed in touch, offering advice, answering questions, and ensuring everything went smoothly from start to finish. Her dedication went above and beyond, and I’m so grateful for all her help. If you ever have the chance to work with Virginia, I highly recommend it—she’s the best in the business and The Tile Shop is lucky to have her.

I went for some home renovation project. I was lucky to find the store manager Bryce at the store. Very professional, knowledgeable person and respectful. I will go back and I highly recommend that store !

Recently a client of mine purchased tile at the Lake Zurich Il store. They were told that it could be picked in the afternoon of Friday January 26 2024. I arrived to pick it up at about 2pm. I spoke to the gentleman (later I found out he was the store manager) at the desk and he said the truck had not arrived yet with the delivery, and that it would not be able to be picked up until Saturday morning at 10am. I explained to him that I scheduled my installer to start at 7am on Saturday because we were told that it could be picked up on Friday afternoon. He said that there was nothing that could be done because the warehouse person would be gone. I explained my situation again but he said there was nothing he could do. I called the salesperson at the Lake Zurich store to explain what was going on and asked him to intervein. After several more hours I was finally told I could pick it up. The store manager was obviously not happy because he had to do it himself. Between the time I arrived to the time I pulled away, it was less than 5 minutes. Yet he was willing to completely mess up my schedule because he did not want to help. Customer service?

My experience with this store and especially with their associate Tara Gonzales was exceptional! They have a huge selection of tiles to choose from. Tara carefully listened to me & what I was looking for. Her direction was VERY helpful! The whole experience was one of the best I have had at a retail store in a very long time!

I went to pick out tile for a bathroom Reno and told him I was just waiting for the contractor to be free. I said what colors and finishes I want. No one else was in the store. He then led me to a huge section and left me to look. I expected some help. I asked to speak to the manager and was told he was the manager of the Hoffman Estates, IL store. This is the second time I was at this store. I had expected to pick out wall and floor tile today. This was the worse service ever. Even the service at a big discount store was better.

Most notably, Ms. Chelle Pèrez at your Hoffman Estates, IL. location. She has gone above and beyond to be helpful, responsive, and courteous. Thanks again!!

Nick was fantastic to work with on my bathrooms remodel. Expert knowledge and very accommodating when I changed the plan. He tracked down and actually went to another store to pick up the marble I needed ASAP! Super recommended!! Wish I could add pictures to this review.
