I worked with the good people at Vermont Renovation and Remodeling for a complete kitchen remodel at my Burlington, Vermont home. I cannot speak highly enough of them and the quality of their work. Bill, Erik, and the team helped me design the kitchen, identify what I needed to do to realize my vision, were patient when I had trouble making a decision, and got the project done on time and within budget. Their commitment to my project was obvious and greatly appreciated. My kitchen turned out better than I could have imagined. I definitely intend to work with them again on a complete bathroom remodel.

I just moved to an older house that needed renovation and maintenance. Being that I was new to the area, I had to rely on user reviews to find a company for the projects. Based on the high-ranking reviews, I decided to go with Vermont Renovation and Remodeling. The other reviews proved accurate! Bill couldn't have been more efficient, friendly and professional. His rates were reasonable and I really appreciated his timely communication regarding project updates and when he'd be at the house. I find it amazing he knows how to do everything including replacing an old AC unit built into the all-wood wall with a new window (and it's so helpful he's got the business contacts such as a window supplier.) He's even going to cut out a matching window on the other side of the big picture window so I have even more views of the osprey nest nearby. I can't wait! I wouldn't go with anyone else in the future. Pics from inside and outside the location of new windows. Will update when new windows are in. Update 8/23/22 New windows are in and look fantastic! I was worried about putting more holes in my house but I couldn't be happier with how they look and work. We had to wait for the window supplier to provide the windows but...then Bill was able to install them in one day! I will always go to Bill first for any remodeling and renovation projects.

We used Vermont Renovation and Remodeling for a three season porch conversion and their work was fantastic! They were knowledgeable, communicative, and their work was absolutely top notch. We went from a barely usable, almost non-functioning porch to an incredible new room in our house! I would highly recommend Bill and his team.

Vermont Renovation & Remodeling took on a shower remodel project that several other contractors were reluctant to even provide an estimate for because of some floor rotting. Bill not only identified and corrected the source of the issue and replaced the affected area, but came in on budget with no surprises. The project involved carpentry, plumbing, and tilework, and all three were done exceptionally. The tilework and new custom-cut and fitted glass shower door look better than anything we could have imagined. Professional and courteous, they explained clearly what they were doing at all times, and kept us appraised of timelines throughout the life of the project. We will definitely hire them again for any remodel/updating work we have done to our home in the future.

Bill and his team were reliable, honest and performed great work. We had a complicated project completely renovating a nearly 50 year old log cabin that had been neglected for over a decade before we purchased it. We couldn't be happier with the results and the quality of work that was performed.

We've had Bill help us with several small jobs around the house, and most recently he powerwashed and painted all of the trim on the house, plus the porch. The quality of his workmanship was excellent and he got the job done in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable cost. Bill was excellent at communicating about when he'd be showing up and leaving. He was neat, professional, and did a fantastic job. He was extra conscientious, even making note of some carpenter bees and other future maintenance recommendations. I'd hire him any day!

Bill helped us with a lot of projects we couldn't do ourselves such as installing bathroom hardware, tool racks in the garage, a TV bracket for a large TV and shelves . He is friendly & professional and we are very happy with the work he did for us. The work looks great and functions really well. Also, everything is level. It was a breeze to work with Bill to get these things done. We highly recommend Bill (Colchester Handyman). Thank you Bill!
